Care Coordinator

Panhandle Counseling & Health Center is seeking a full-time Care Coordinator.

Duties will include:

  • Responsible for coordinating referrals, consults, and diagnostic testing
  • Tracking results of these appointments
  • Obtain preauthorization from payers
  • Assist in facilitating and processing prescription requests
  • Effectively communicates with health care team
  • Contacts patients overdue for care and encourage appropriate follow-up care

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Team oriented mentality
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office programs, internet functions, and other basic computer operations
  • Bilingual preferred

Education:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Duties will include:

  • Collaborate with PCHC providers to facilitate care for patients
  • Advocate for patients regarding treatment options
  • Arrange necessary services with health and government agencies
  • Handle case assignments

Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Familiarity with healthcare knowledge
  • Ability to be resourceful
  • Bilingual preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or related field

Receptionist

Panhandle Counseling & Health Center is seeking a full-time receptionist. Applicant must be available to work 7am-4pm Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

  • Office experience preferred
  • Bilingual preferred

Master's Level Clinician

Panhandle Counseling and Health Center (PCHC) is seeking a full-time Master's Level Clinician (LPC, LMSW, LMFT) in Guymon, Oklahoma. The licensed counselor will provide counseling services to clients suffering from psychological and behavioral problems using appropriate counseling techniques as indicated in each individual case. The licensed counselor will maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients treatment, as well as prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in behavioral health counseling
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Ability to continue a task after an interruption and adaptable to change
  • Current Oklahoma License (Oklahoma State Department of Health)

Dentist

Panhandle Counseling and Health Center (PCHC) is seeking a full-time Dentist in Hooker, Oklahoma. The dentist will perform professional general dental care in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Qualifications:

  • A. Licensed to practice dentistry in the state.
  • B. Graduate of formal accredited school of dentistry
  • C. Working knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of dental and oral diseases
  • D. Working knowledge of the principles, standard practices methods, and techniques of dentistry.
  • E. Working knowledge of preventive dentistry and educational methodologies utilized in prevention.
  • F. Skill in oral operative techniques
  • G. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

A. Provides preventive clinical services:

  1. Prophylaxis of teeth
  2. Sealants
  3. Oral hygiene education
  4. Baby bottle tooth decay education
  5. Radiographs
  6. Topical fluoride applications
  7. Impressions
  8. Coronal polishing
  9. Amalgam polishing
  10. Space maintenance
  11. Root planing and curettage.

B. Provides emergency clinical services:

  1. Extractions
  2. Incisive and drain infections
  3. Prescribes medications as needed
  4. Treatment of oral trauma

C. Provides restorative clinical services:

  1. Amalgams
  2. Composites
  3. Crowns
  4. Endodontics
  5. Prosthetics

D. Diagnosis of dental and oral diseases
